Our location at the Mills Park Hotel in Yellow Springs, Ohio, has free, convenient parking, stands in the heart of the Village, and offers a banquet hall fit for an interactive writers’ weekend with single, shared sessions and special events.
Into the Springs is a full weekend of shared sessions, events and lunch, making your interaction with featured guest instructors and writer participants easily accessible.
The Banquet Hall at the Mills Park Hotel offers an effective space to listen, work and connect. Here, director Sandy Kachurek welcomes everyone on Friday evening in 2023.

Workshop 2024
August 2-4, 2024: Into the Springs 2024 workshop continues to be refined. Currently, our amazing featured guest instructors include author, journalist Andrew Welsh-Huggins; author, publisher Jeffrey Marks; and the Ohio Audiobook Narrators.
Andrew Welsh-Huggins is the Shamus, Derringer and International Thriller Writers-award-nominated author of the Andy Hayes Private Eye series and many other novels, short stories, fiction and nonfiction books.
Jeffrey Marks is the award-winning author of biographies of Craig Rice and Anthony Boucher. In 2014, he joined Crippen & Landru, a small business that publishes “The Very Best in Short Mystery Fiction,” and in 2018 assumed the role of publisher.
Becky White, Angus Freathy, Gary Smith, Gretchen LaBuhn of Ohio Audiobook Narrators will present an in-depth discussion of audio narration, whether you want to narrate your own work or hire a professional. It includes a demonstration.
